You can select the event in the Visual Day Editor by mouse
click. Selected event will receive white border after
selection. After that, you can change its placement
directly in the appointment tab.

You can shift up and down the selected event using keyboard
shortcuts Ctrl+Up and Ctrl+Down.

It is recommended to perform regularly Backup of Akti
Planner database using the corresponding menu item in
section File or keyboard shortcut Ctrl+B. You always can
restore the database backup using Restore option in the
file menu or the Ctrl+R keyboard shortcut.

Apply to Future Option works for all aspect of event
handling: start time, end time, duration, etc. For example:
if you have changed event start time and duration with
Apply to Future Option turned on, you will get similar
changes for all events from the selected day until forever.

Apply to Future Option also has impact to delete event
functionality. If you are trying to delete recurring event
with Apply to Future Option turned off, Akti Planner will
remove selected event only for the selected day. If Apply
to Future Option turned on you will delete selected event
in the selected day and in all future days.
