How to move my baby diary to a new computer?

My old computer was broken and I got a replacement from the company. Now the question is, how can I move my baby diary to my new computer? My old one is not exactly broken, but I have to return it back. I tried to re-downloading the baby diary software but for some reason it kept giving me an error message. I tried different source of software: from my confirmation email, from cnet, and from this website, and they all gave me the same error message. Please help.

In order to transfer the info you need to backup your data on the old machine: select in the main menu "File > Backup Database".
On the new machine you need to restore from backup: select in the main menu "File > Restore from Backup" and select the folder that contains backup data
Important: you need to transfer all media files and folders (i.e. image and video files) to the new machine manually. It's because Baby Diary keeps only notes, charts, and child related info at the moment.
